KS2 Assembly with Lucy: 15 June 2020

Whilst we are all learning from home we know it can be hard to feel a part of school life. Our aim is to unite us once a week by watching an assembly with our Deputy Head Teacher, Lucy. This assembly is for KS2 but if you have other children in EYFS or KS1, you can also see their assembly by going to Whole School news events.

This week we are exploring the very important Black Lives Matter movement. We look at what racism is, what a protest is and how we can use our voices to have a positive impact. We explore the facts and how we are getting involved at Rhyl as well as which BLP Superhero is going to support us with this topic.

It’s not quite the same as assemblies in school but we hope you can sit down and enjoy 20 minutes of ‘school’.
