SEND Teaching Assistant

Scale 3 (£26,193-£26,625 pro rata)
We are looking for an experienced and committed individual to join our staff team. The post is to support a child in Year 3 who has Autism and complex needs. Candidates should be well-motivated and have a calm manner.
Rhyl is a friendly and very supportive school with a high number of children who have SEND and we are very proud of our excellent reputation for Inclusion. Our success is due to the hard work and commitment of all of our staff team and we provide training and CPD to enable support staff to fulfil their role to a very high standard.
The successful candidate will have had experience of working with pupils with language and communication needs and experience of using strategies to support autism or communication and language needs. The role is to provide 1:1 support in a Year 3 classroom and deliver interventions under the direction of the SENDCo.
